Chapter Six

Caleb slid his fingers through her hair, angling her head to kiss her more deeply. If Brenna wanted to forget, he’d help her forget. At the moment, he was more than happy to do the same. He hated the revelation that Joe had treated her like that, but her story rang true, and it explained so damn much. He couldn’t believe he hadn’t seen it before.
